Development radar — Orange County, September 2026
This is the first Development Radar issue for Orange County. September 2026 moved on two fronts: in Winter Garden, the annexation and land-use change of a corner at Beulah Road and Gillard Avenue, listed for first reading on September 15 and for second reading on September 29 before the City Commission; and at the Board of County Commissioners, public hearings on two Future Land Use Map amendments — one with a concurrent rezoning to industrial — a preliminary subdivision plan, three Planned Development cases and a countywide ordinance on the effective date of the Vision 2050 comprehensive plan. Every item was verified against its official agenda live: we publish only the ones that appear on it with their status verbatim, next to the item it describes. Of the fifteen items in this issue's draft, eleven cleared the gate; the other four were dropped because their agenda assigns them no status that can be quoted.
City of Winter Garden
Annexation of approximately 1.30 acres at 1221, 1233 and 1281 Beulah Road (Ordinance 26-27) — first reading
