Development radar — Polk County, July 2026
The Development Radar is our monthly digest of what local governments in Polk County are about to discuss: rezonings, Future Land Use Map (FLUM) amendments, and projects that reach public agendas months before they show up in the ground. Every item in this issue was verified against its official agenda, live — we publish only the ones whose link resolved and whose status appears verbatim on that agenda. This month the bulk of the activity was county Comprehensive-Plan and FLUM amendments, plus rezonings and annexations in Lake Wales and Haines City.
